1851 Silver Three Cents. PCGS graded MS-65 CAC Approved. A lovely frosty mint gem with delicate lilac and steel blue toning. Untamed fresh luster on a nice example free of any problems. Reasonable detail definition, especially to the all-important area at the star. Mathematically exact standards seen in the sharp C III as well. Pop 162; 106 finer (PCGS # 3664) .

1869 Silver Three Cents. NGC graded Proof 66 Cameo. A fully white example. We have handled a relatively few Proofs of this year that come as close to superb as this pristine example. Both sides are richly frosted on the devices with pearl white luster. Fields are nicely mirrored. The strike is complete, and the surfaces radiate swirling glowing effects. Only 600 pieces minted. Pop 6; 4 finer, 1 in 66 star, 2 in 67, 1 in 68.
